Meghan Markle's half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., is reportedly a person of interest in their father's child pornography investigation.
Philippine Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla revealed Thursday that authorities received information from a witness who alleged that underage girls were brought to a residence connected to the police investigation, according to News 5 Philippines.

Thomas Markle Jr. claimed he discovered "hundreds if not thousands" of disturbing child sexual abuse images in four boxes at his father's home in the Philippines and reported the information to the police.
"To accuse the father only is only half the police work," Remulla said in a press conference, according to News 5 Philippines.
"There are signs that point to the son being involved in the crime as well but only as a person of interest so far," he explained, clarifying that Thomas Markle Jr. has not been named as a suspect in the case.

Remulla said investigators assessed a surrendered cell phone, dismantled CPUs and other devices. They also discovered approximately 500 sensitive materials of underage males and females.
"They presented it to me but I didn't want to look because I can't unsee it," Remulla said.
"It is the most deplorable display of impunity towards sexual activity that I have ever seen. It's really, really disturbing," he continued.

Remulla asserted that the investigation remains ongoing and authorities have yet to determine who the devices belong to.
Meghan Markle issued a statement when news broke that her estranged father was under investigation and said she was "deeply disturbed" over the allegations. (RELATED: Meghan Markle Admits To Being Aware Of Father's Child Porn Allegations For Years, Kept Her Kids Away)
The Duchess of Sussex admitted she was aware of such allegations years earlier, which prompted her to distance herself and her two children. She has not issued public comment about her half-brother's alleged involvement.
