Journalists are often firmer with Democrats before they win a primary election. Then, when facing off against a Republican in the general, they go soft on the Democrat and rough on the Republican. That's already happening in the Michigan Senate race with Abdul el-Sayed vs. Mike Rogers.

On Thursday, President Donald Trump signed a new executive order banning birth tourism, among other types of what may be perceived as improper grants of birthright citizenship. The Elitist Media Evening News took exception to these orders, which come after the Supreme Court opinion striking down the previous birthright citizenship executive order.

Watch as the CBS Evening News casts a shadow on the executive order, with Weijia Jiang playing the "without evidence" card on birth tourism:

Traffic accident coverage is a staple of the Elitist Media Evening News, faithfully serving as filler against stories they'd rather not air. Just like the empty carbs taking steak's place on your plate. And when it comes to the traffic accident filler, the networks have demonstrated a tendency to name only one vehicle brand.

Watch as ABC World News Tonight prolongs the Elon Hate, making sure to utter "Tesla" as many times as possible in a recent car crash story:

Michael Steele's devolution from RNC chairman to being indistinguishable from any of his left-wing MS NOW colleagues was on full display again on Thursday as he filled in for former Biden White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on The Briefing. At one point, Steele welcomed failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams to the show to accuse the GOP of wanting to bring back Jim Crow and naturally spread unfounded conspiracy theories about voter suppression.

The nation's unemployment rate declined in July, even as government continued to shrink, the Commerce Department's Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported Friday.

The seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate fell to 4.1%, down from 4.2% in June, as the number of unemployed declined by 178,000 from 7.1 million to 6.9 million. "Both the labor force participation rate, at 61.4 percent, and the employment-population ratio, at 58.9 percent, changed little in July," BLS reported.

The private sector added 30,000 jobs in July, largely thanks to a 22,000 growth in the health care sector. Meanwhile, the number of government jobs shrank by 53,000, due to the number of local government jobs falling 57,000.
