As the Alaska Senate race remains tightly contested with no clear victor, President Donald Trump asserted that votes for the "Fake Dan Sullivan" and GOP candidate Gerald Heikes
should be given to the "REAL Dan Sullivan."
Taking to Truth Social on Thursday, Trump again highlighted the contentious election in the Last Frontier, where a second "Dan Sullivan" on the ballot has led to national controversy.
"The vote totals for the Fake Dan Sullivan, plus the other 'slug' that the Dems put on the Ballot, should be immediately given to the REAL Dan Sullivan, and the Election is over — He easily wins. There is no other fair solution!" the president stated.

Trump has accused Democrats of intentionally adding Daniel J. Sullivan Jr. to the ballot to confuse voters and take votes away from incumbent Senator Dan S. Sullivan (R-Alaska).
His claims were further supported by a report from The New York Times at the end of October that campaign staffers for Senate Democrat candidate Mary Peltola (D-Alaska) and allied operatives allegedly worked to recruit candidates with the same name as the incumbent senator.
The report also alleged that Heikes (R-Alaska) had said he had been recruited into the race "by a guy from the Midwest."
With 74.44% of the vote counted as of Wednesday, Peltola leads Dan S. Sullivan by only 637 votes, with Heikes (R-Alaska) having received a total of 4,846 votes and Daniel J. Sullivan Jr. 3,600 votes, according to the Associated Press.
The AP noted that if no one candidate receives a majority of the ballots, the election will advance to ranked-choice voting.
