Earlier today, the Gateway Pundit reported that Chuck Schumer is gloating about the Democrat midterm victories in the Senate. How nice for him.
Now, less than 24 hours after the elections, various Democrats, including some of the newest ones, are calling for Schumer to be replaced. Some members of the party were already talking about this before the midterms.
Enjoy your leadership role while it lasts, Chuckie.

Schumer is whistling past the graveyard. Newsmax reports:
Schumer Predicts Reelection Despite Dem Opposition
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said Wednesday he is confident he will be reelected as Senate Majority Leader despite opposition from several newly elected Democrats, saying a day after his party seized control of the chamber that "the issue is not me."
"The issue is not me. I'll be reelected as majority leader. But the issue is focusing on the American people and what they want," Schumer said at a press conference at Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee headquarters.
Schumer made the remarks when asked about Democrats who won Tuesday after saying they would not vote for him as leader, including Sens.-elect Adam Hamilton of Kansas, Troy Jackson of Maine, and Abdul El-Sayed of Michigan.
Asked about criticism of his leadership from frustrated Democrats in recent years, Schumer responded, "This is not about me."
"This is about the American people and what they want and what they need and what we can do to help them. Plain and simple," he said.
The Democrat Party is like the famous book Lord of the Flies.
Schumer will be seen as an obstacle by many of the candidates he supported in the midterms and they will all turn on him if they think it will be better for them. There will be no loyalty at all.
Schumer should celebrate now, while he still can.
