Glamorous woman hunted over £30million 'Peaky Blinders' raid at British jeweler's display is revealed by cops

Glamorous woman hunted over £30million 'Peaky Blinders' raid at British jeweler's display is revealed by cops

Europol is searching for a Serbian woman suspected of assisting in one of the largest jewellery heists in Europe.

The £30million raid took place at the prestigious TEFAF art and antiques fair in Maastricht, Netherlands, on June 28, 2022.

Four robbers wearing flat caps and suspected to be members of the Pink Panther criminal group targeted luxury items from British jeweller Symbolic and Chase, which was exhibiting its pieces at the fair.

Europol is searching for the robbers, who are believed to have fled to Serbia via Germany and were captured on CCTV in a car with a woman.

The European Union's law enforcement agency last week said it had added 41-year-old Ninoslava Jovic, who is suspected of assisting the heist, to its most wanted list.

Sharing images of a glamorous blonde woman, authorities said she is believed to be living in Serbia, but noted that she is likely to travel to other countries.

Europol has urged anyone with information on the suspect to contact the Netherlands police.

The Limburg Public Prosecution Office is offering a  20,000 Euro, or £17,000, reward to anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the heist's perpetrators.

Europol is also searching for four men suspected of taking part in the robbery.

Aleksandar Stojiljkovic, Aleksandar Cenic and Dusko Dimitrjevic, all aged 50, and Bratislav Stojanovic, aged 41, are believed to be in Serbia and are considered to be dangerous.

Europol says they may be travelling under false names.

The 2022 robbery became known as the 'Peaky Blinders' raid after robbers were captured on CCTV sporting flat caps akin to those worn in the hit historical crime drama as they threatened visitors with what appeared to be handguns before running off.

Footage also showed them using sledgehammers to smash their way into a jewelry display case.

According to investigators, they stole jewels worth around £30million.

Police said they had detained two Belgian suspects shortly after the heist, but declined to say whether they were connected to the case.

The Belgians' lawyer insisted there had been a misunderstanding and that his clients denied any involvement.

Police did not find any evidence of jewellery or weapons in their car; the search for the perpetrators and stolen items continues.

Since the robbery four years ago, only three diamonds that were stolen have been recovered.

TEFAF features hundreds of works, including one 17th-century drawing by a Dutch Old Master on sale for one million euros.
