There have been two shootings at football games outside historically black universities ... and yet the media is being strangely vague about them

How come the national media doesn't latch on to mass shootings like this one?

Anyhow, Birmingham, Alabama, hosted the Magic City Classic on Saturday — the biggest historically black college football rivalry in the country.

Alabama A&M beat Alabama State by three, and everyone was having a blast at the sold-out venue.

That is, until the shooting started. Around 7:50, just after the game, gunfire erupted outside the field. Two separate shootings, less than eight minutes apart. One person is dead, and eight others are wounded — one still critical.

Tailgating was immediately suspended and the area was cleared.

Here's Birmingham Police Chief Michael Pickett:

This was two senseless acts of violence. Completely senseless acts of violence.

Two senseless acts of violence which will not — even during an election week — be reported on nationally in order to push gun control??

Look at how vague the coverage is here:

What, no mugshots? No descriptions of the perpetrators or victims?

This follows another shooting from last week at a historically black college:

Why do we not report on these particular school shootings? Are their lives less worth it? Is gun control only worth stumping for when people with other, uh, features get shot? Why is this just a blip in the news cycle??

Someone should go investigate and write journal notes about this phenomenon.

We could call it "investigative journalism"! 🤯
