Ron DeSantis had some things to say last night.

When you're in a mid-term cycle, it tends to go against the party in power. I think we're seeing some of those headwinds. I mean think about some of the issues people care about. Every time they go to the gas pump, they're reminded that gas is higher. A lot of people didn't like the Iran conflict. They didn't want to see that resolved. You also have other things that have happened with general inflation. DC is a total mess. And so our candidates are running into the wind on that, and the Democrats have more momentum.

I mean, is he wrong?

I can tell you, just from watching our candidates, I think a lot of them haven't been able to get a good footing nationally. That's why you have Kansas potentially being a competitive Senate race. Who would have thought that just two years ago?
