Are Democrats making a slight turn toward common sense?

I don't care how blue the map was last night, this is great news.

Democrats, go ahead and high-five, because voters in several states are doing something far more interesting than "winning." They've apparently ignored party lines and are passing measures that actually make sense.

Here's some more for ya:

So, while we got a blue tsunami, it did come with some common sense from the voters.

Also, Idaho told abortion activists to take a hike, defeating Prop 1, which would have created a "right" to abortion up to birth.

Sure, there were other losses. Missouri voters rejected another attempt to roll back the abortion "protections" they put into place two years ago. Virginia wrote abortion rights into its constitution. Nevada, too.

But those wins on the transgender athlete front and the voter ID front should really excite the right. With so many Republicans sitting out this election, it's clear that Democrats are leaning more toward common sense.
