A raging Subaru driver was filmed putting his hand around a teenage boy's neck after he allegedly confronted the teen and his friend for trespassing.
Gregory McPhedrain, 57, was arrested Thursday after he allegedly assaulted a 17-year-old boy, identified only by his first name, Isaiah, that he caught fishing in his neighborhood.
Disturbing video obtained by Gulf Coast News showed McPhedrain chasing Isaiah down the sidewalk in a residential neighborhood in Lee County, Florida.
McPhedrain increased his pace until he was walking beside Isaiah and put his left hand on the boy's shoulder, apparently gripping his neck, the footage showed.
He then grasped his right hand on the other side of the boy's neck and seemingly put his fingers in his mouth as he tried to pull him to the ground.
Isaiah freed himself from his attacker's grip and pushed him away, but McPhedrain charged at him again with his fist raised in the air, the footage showed.
McPhedrain has since been booked into Lee County Jail on two counts of battery and one count of cruelty to a child.
He is due in court Saturday morning for a pre-trial hearing, jail records show. He has not yet entered a plea.

McPhedrain was also caught on camera throwing a liquid at the boys as he sped down the street in his Subaru Crosstrek
Isaiah and his friend, Brycin, 15, allege the assault came after McPhedrain called the police on them for fishing in a residential pond.
As they were heading home on their e-bikes, they spotted McPhedrain speeding down the road in his Subaru Crosstrek, the pair alleged.
The boys confronted McPhedrain at a stop sign, which they claim resulted in him shouting at and nearly hitting them.
McPhedrain then reportedly threw a liquid at them, which the pair caught on camera, before speeding off again.
He then allegedly put his car in park, exited the vehicle and began following Isaiah down the sidewalk, the boys claimed.
'Once I seen him get out the car and start coming at us, that's when I felt the need to protect me and my friend's property. And I just felt like our lives were at danger,' Isaiah told Gulf Coast News.
Brycin, who recorded the alleged attack, said he watched McPhedrain grab Isaiah by the neck, adding that it 'looked like he was trying to shove his fingers down my friend's throat.'

The Lee County Sheriff's Office is investigating the alleged assault.
Isaiah, meanwhile, has issued a stern warning to his attacker: 'It's not OK to put your hands on a child in any situation, no matter what. If you are above the age of 18, you should know better than to put your hands on a child.'
According to public records, McPhedrain lives in the coastal city of Sanibel Island, about 20 miles outside of Fort Myers. It is unclear if the boys also live in the city.
