The morning after a stunning election, filmmaker Chris Burgard returns to The Elizabeth Farah Show with a dire warning: Texas has suffered a political defeat that could have consequences for the entire nation.
In this urgent follow-up conversation, Farah and Burgard examine the election results, Republican leadership failures, and what Burgard describes as the growing influence of the Muslim Brotherhood and its political allies. "The Texas I went to bed last night with is not the Texas we woke up with today," Burgard declares.
The discussion also turns to President Trump, with both Farah and Burgard questioning his administration’s messaging on affordability, immigration and the concerns of ordinary Americans. Burgard argues that Republicans have surrendered control of the political narrative while their opponents have organized to reshape American institutions.
Burgard also reveals what he describes as censorship of his documentary, Remember the Alamo, claiming Facebook and Instagram removed his team’s content after videos addressing child trafficking and child marriage gained widespread attention. He discusses the film’s nationwide tour and efforts to organize pastors, churches and local communities.
But when Farah asks whether America can recover, Burgard’s response is emphatic: "No, no, no, God, it’s not over." He argues that Christians must overcome political complacency, organize locally and reclaim their role in defending the Constitution and their communities.
