How the 1964 Civil Rights Act Eviscerated the American Constitution

How the 1964 Civil Rights Act Eviscerated the American Constitution

James Madison, the Father of the Constitution, was the driving force behind transforming what started out as a water navigation dispute between Maryland and Virginia into the Constitutional Convention, which then produced our Constitution. Madison was not only one of the primary influences during the Convention itself but also, writing as Publius (along with Alexander Hamilton and John Jay) in the Federalist Papers, he advocated for its ratification.

My previous essay examined the parallels between Communism/Socialism and Twelver Shia violence. But to be clear, violence is the currency of all Islam, full stop. Despite claims to the contrary, almost no one converts to Islam (or becomes Commie/Socialist) absent coercion of one form or another. The Twelvers were highlighted because of the current situation with Iran and the homicidal Blues Brothers rulers itching to get their grubby fingers on the nuclear button.1 2

Straight As, Empty Minds

Straight As, Empty Minds

One of the most revealing statistics in modern education has nothing to do with reading scores, mathematics proficiency, or scientific literacy. Instead, it concerns grades. According to Hannah Frankman Hood, writing for Daily Economy, roughly half of all students graduating from American high schools now receive an A average. At first glance, this sounds like extraordinary success. Upon closer examination, however, it raises a far more troubling question: if nearly everyone is exceptional, what exactly does “exceptional” mean anymore?

In the aftermath of the Islamic terrorist attack on Berlin’s July 25 Christopher Street Pride festival, in which one woman was killed and 29 people injured, a gay Turkish belly dancer — according to the AP — opted to turn “grief into joy.”

Haidar Darwish, a professional belly dancer and artist, took center stage at a Berlin museum where he went through with his performance despite the tragedy. No doubt he prepped for a long time for his twenty minutes of fame and wasn’t going to let that opportunity go.

What is a Think Tank?

What is a Think Tank?

“What is a think tank?” is a question I get asked all the time.

The job of a think tank is to generate the ideas that politicians implement in office. If politics were the movie industry, those we elect would be the stars on the big screen; think tanks help write the script.

What Really Causes Inflation?

What Really Causes Inflation?

The fact that inflation is not necessarily caused by the money supply was proven in the 1970s, and economists did not notice.  It was proven again during President Obama’s tenure.

Milton Friedman is my idol.  However, if he said, “Inflation is always a monetary phenomenon,” that is a white lie.  Read on to learn why he would have said that.

There Is No Justice in Minnesota

There Is No Justice in Minnesota

Last week, a Minnesota jury convicted Shiloh Hendrix of disorderly conduct for using a racial slur against a Somali man who was harassing and recording her.  The “crime” occurred in a public park last year after Hendrix caught a Somali child stealing from her handbag.  Hendrix had her hands full with her own toddler at the time, and her protective maternal instincts kicked in.
