For the first time ever, Sen. Adam Schiff will not be attending the State of the Union address on February 24th.
He boldly announced that he is refusing to grace President Trump with his presence and “won’t give him the audience he craves.”
Watch for yourself:

GOOD! If there’s ONE senator I wouldn’t want there, it’s TRAITOR and SNAKE Adam Schiff. 👋🏻
He should resign and likely be IN PRISON.
I’m sorry, but this is kind of hilarious.
So, what?
As if President Trump cared at all whether Shifty Adam Schiff or any other traitorous member of Congress is there or not.
In fact, he might even prefer it this way!
By the way, Schiff isn’t the only Democrat boycotting the State of the Union.
Instead of protesting at the address this year, it looks like some Democrats have planned alternative “counter rally” events for that evening.
The Hill has more details on that:
Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) is joining a growing group of Democrats who plan to boycott President Trump’s State of the Union address next Tuesday in favor of an alternative event, according to progressive media outlet MeidasTouch.
The outlet reported that Schiff is set to speak at a counter rally on the National Mall, dubbed the “People’s State of the Union,” that it is hosting alongside liberal advocacy group MoveOn Civic Action.
The lineup of Democratic speakers also includes Sens. Ed Markey (Mass.), Jeff Merkley (Ore.), Chris Murphy (Conn.) and Tina Smith (Minn.), as well as at least seven House members.
The rally is just one of several counterprogramming efforts Democrats are expected to engage in to protest Trump’s Feb. 24 address, his first State of the Union since returning to office.
Another event called the “State of the Swamp” is planned at the National Press Club at 7 p.m. that same night, featuring a small group of Democrats.
Some Democrats have signaled they may attend one of the counter rallies in addition to the State of the Union, while others say they are skipping it entirely.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) told reporters on Wednesday that members of his caucus could either attend the high-profile address with “silent defiance” or take part in other programming “that is going to take place in and around the Capitol complex.”
None of these Democrats, including Adam Schiff, will be missed.
At least they won’t be causing a stink at the actual address like many of them did last year.
Many other folks on X are thinking along the same lines:
I hope all Democrats boycott it. Their conduct last time was disgraceful.

I’m glad he isn’t going to be there. He is toxic!

Schiff's presence is like a bad smell in the room. He will not be missed.

What do you think?
Are you happy Schiff is boycotting the State of the Union?
