That's not a typo. That's not fake news. 2.2 million immigrants let in under President Biden are now eligible for deportation.

Here's the Business-Standard:

President Donald Trump's administration has taken actions to revoke or terminate the status of 2.2 million 'illegal aliens' since he returned to the White House in January 2025, a US agency has said, marking the scale of the country's immigration crackdown.
The figure, reported by the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on October 29, is nearly seven times the number of comparable actions taken during the final two years of the Joe Biden administration, according to the agency.
'Since Jan. 20, 2025, USCIS has carried out immigration enforcement actions to revoke or terminate the status of approximately 2.2 million illegal aliens,' the agency said on Thursday.

There are certain categories of migrants, like "refugees," where the courts are holding up progress tremendously, but there are other areas where the Trump admin can push to get things done.

AKA exactly what we voted for.

For foreign nationals, including Indians living in the US or planning to move there, the figures point to a more stringent immigration environment, with greater scrutiny of legal status, work authorisation and compliance with visa conditions.

USCIS reviews requests for visas, work permits, green cards, and much else.
Under Biden, the agency served as a rubber stamp for illegal migrants, criminals, low-wage employers, and the Democratic Party's urban machines. For example, Biden's USCIS helped millions of illegal migrants by approving millions of work permits, Social Security Numbers, Temporary Protected Status, and the vital green cards that provide migrants with legalized residency.

This does not mean, of course, that we're getting 2.2 million deportations tomorrow.

But the legal framework is now in place for the deportation efforts by ICE to be kicked into overdrive.

USCIS's enforcement actions include:
Ending the misuse of Temporary Protected Status so that TPS is once again truly temporary;
Denying applications to extend or change nonimmigrant status when no legal basis exists;
Issuing Notices to Appear (NTAs) to place removable aliens into removal proceedings before an immigration judge;
Ending the automatic extension of employment authorization documents, ensuring every alien is properly screened and vetted before any work authorization is renewed; and
Terminating categorical parole programs and returning parole to strict case-by-case review as Congress intended.
These actions have real consequences. Every fraudulent application identified, every ineligible benefit denied, and every national security threat flagged represents an immigration system working to uphold the law and protect the American people. By strengthening screening and vetting, preventing the exploitation of immigration benefits, and initiating removal proceedings against those who violate our laws, USCIS is closing the gaps that undermine public safety and national security.
USCIS is exercising its full legal authorities to deny meritless applications, terminate unlawfully granted immigration benefits, initiate removal proceedings, and revoke improper approvals — all while promoting accountability and preventing the misuse of public benefits.

The results?

2.2 million illegal aliens allowed in under Joseph Robinette Biden are now eligible for deportation.
