A Canadian CEO and his family were attacked during a violent home invasion in an affluent Toronto neighborhood near Drake's mansion.

Three masked, armed suspects stormed a home on Hyde Park Circle at 3:43 a.m. on Thursday, shooting Mac Group CEO David Morton and his two adult daughters, Cristina and Maggie, before brutally attacking his wife, Doriana, with a hammer, according to The Toronto Sun.

Toronto Police Service Inspector Kristy Smith told reporters that 75-year-old Morton and one of his daughters were shot in the leg. His other daughter was shot under her arm.

Two of the family members suffered "life-altering injuries" and remained hospitalized while the other two sustained non-life-threatening wounds, Smith said.

The 2.1 million-dollar home is situated approximately 500 yards from Drake's estate.

Morton and his two daughters reportedly fought off the attackers who gained entry into their gated Bridle Path property through a back door.

"A struggle ensued during this altercation in which the suspects fired their guns multiple times and one victim was struck with a hammer," Smith said, according to The Toronto Sun.

Smith continued, "There was a violent interaction. There was a demand made for valuables from within the home. Whether or not they escaped with anything is uncertain at this point."

Officials did not release suspect information, but said they fled the scene in an SUV.

The Mac Group's official website lists Cristina as the founder of Zohil-Morton Law. Maggie is listed as a valued employee of the organization and oversees multiple departments. Doriana is listed as president.

Local news outlets covered the brutal attack that left the community reeling.

"We have no information at this point to suspect that this particular home was targeted by the suspects," Smith told reporters, according to Global News. (RELATED: Police Reportedly Held Gun To Kim Kardashian's Head Due To Kanye West's Behavior)

"I'm not quite sure what their motives are at this time and whether or not they were in the area looking at other houses prior," she said. "People should be able to feel safe in their homes. I want to assure residents that the Toronto Police Service will do everything that we can to identify, locate, and bring these suspects to criminal justice."
