Did President Trump just confirm that aliens are out there?
Speaking to reporters about Barack Obama’s recent remarks on the existence of aliens, President Trump said that Obama “made a big mistake” because he gave out “classified information.”
President Trump also said that he might get Barack Obama out of trouble by declassifying that information.
Watch this for yourself:
🚨BREAKING: President Trump says Obama revealed “Classified Information” when he said Aliens are real.
— Benny Johnson (@bennyjohnson) February 19, 2026
Q: “Obama said that aliens are real. Have you seen any evidence of non-human visitors to Earth?”
TRUMP: “He gave classified information. He's not supposed to be doing that.” pic.twitter.com/fjcf6Ka1ac
So, let’s get this straight…
President Trump refused to either confirm or deny whether he believes in extraterrestrials.
But, he did say that Barack Obama shouldn’t have said that aliens are real because that information’s classified.
Am I wrong or, by saying that, didn’t he just do the same thing?!
Other folks are thinking along the same lines:
So, Trump did too, if he confirmed that was classified information.

Now trump just confirmed aliens are real.

If this response doesn’t confirm aliens are real, then I don’t know what will. Wow.

On another note, who was President Trump trying to warn Obama about in that clip?
Getting into trouble for revealing such “classified info” by those in power here on Earth? Or, elsewhere?…
Kinda scary the way he answered that , kinda like saying he might be in trouble but not with us... dadadaa

This could explain why Barack Obama tried to back-track after saying straight-up that “aliens are real” on a recent podcast appearance.
For reference, here’s the original clip of what Obama had to say about the existence of extraterrestrials:
Barack Obama on aliens: “They’re real”

“But I haven’t seen them. They’re not being kept at Area 51. There’s no underground facility — unless there’s this enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the President of the United States.” pic.twitter.com/c6t0DYxewU
One day after the podcast dropped, Barack Obama tried to walk it back in a post on Instagram.
The New York Post reported:
Former President Barack Obama has clarified his casual but dramatic claim that aliens are “real,” caveating that he never came across solid evidence of extraterrestrial life during his presidency.
The 44th president set the internet ablaze over the weekend for confidently proclaiming on a liberal podcast that aliens are real while dismissing conspiracy theories about them being housed in Nevada’s Area 51.
“I was trying to stick with the spirit of the speed round, but since it’s gotten attention let me clarify,” Obama explained on Instagram. “Statistically, the universe is so vast that the odds are good there’s life out there.”
“But the distances between solar systems are so great that the chances we’ve been visited by aliens is low [sic], and I saw no evidence during my presidency that extraterrestrials have made contact with us,” he added. “Really!”
Maybe Barack realized his “big mistake” and tried to take it all back real quick.
But, it isn’t just Obama telling us this type of stuff.
Just yesterday, Lara Trump claimed that President Trump has prepared a speech on extraterrestrial life.
Full scoop on that here:
LARA TRUMP: “President Trump Has A Speech On Aliens/UFOs Prepared And Ready To Use”
So, I have to wonder: are President Trump's remarks today his way of hinting that he's about to drop the real-life "X-files" that apparently exist?
And, if aliens are real, what are we supposed to do about them?
This comment made me laugh:
Well, if they're here, deport them too!
