Puerto Rico experienced shaking Thursday morning from a magnitude 5.1 earthquake in the Atlantic Ocean.
Happening at 10:18 a.m. local time, the location of the quake was around 98 miles from Puerto Rico towards the north.
The earthquake was 19.5 miles deep, according to data from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

No damage has been reported from the quake.
According to the USGS, earthquakes are normal in this area of the Caribbean because of the tectonic plates’ convolution throughout the region.
Since January’s conclusion, several earthquakes that have ranged from 2.0-4.4 have taken place in or near Puerto Rico, per the USGS.

The Daily Caller is also monitoring a potential threat of a nor’easter and significant snowstorm, events that could impact millions of Americans across the Interstate 95 corridor. The range of the system is from Sunday night into Monday.
