A new poll shows President Trump’s approval rating has surged back above his 2024 election victory margin. The mainstream media won’t tell you about it.
The InsiderAdvantage poll, conducted February 17-18 among 800 likely voters, found Trump at 50% approval and 46% disapproval. That’s a net positive of +4 points—exceeding his margin of victory against Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt wasted no time sharing the results.

InsiderAdvantage pollster Matt Towery confirmed the findings in a statement.

After a period of weakness in his approval ratings, President Trump has come back to the 50% level, near to or exceeding his margin of victory against Kamala Harris in 2024.
The poll used a mix-mode text/panel methodology with a margin of error of plus/minus 3.46 percent.

Yet the legacy media continues to push a different narrative. The New York Times polling average currently shows Trump at 41% approval. ABC, The Washington Post, and CNN have all run stories highlighting polls with Trump underwater.
The difference? Methodology. While many polls survey “registered voters” or even “all adults,” InsiderAdvantage surveys likely voters—the people who actually show up on Election Day.
The same pollster correctly predicted Trump’s performance in multiple past election cycles. Other accurate pollsters are showing the same upward trend.
Meanwhile, Trump’s MAGA base remains rock solid. An Economist/YouGov poll found 93% approval among MAGA supporters.
The media can ignore these numbers all they want. The American people already made their choice in November.
