Report: New Zealand's military held training exercises to respond to fictional Christian terror group

So this actually happened.

That's right: In 2025, New Zealand's military ran simulations where they were responding to the over-present, global threat of CHRISTIAN NATIONALISM.

The New Zealand Defense Force ran this scenario four separate times in 2025 alone.

The Visayan People's Front, no doubt pulled from some liberal's failed Hollywood script, is billed in the tactical war games package as a group of Christ followers who "want to deport all Muslims and create a Christian nation."

The simulation was, sadly, developed and managed by the US Army Training and Transformation Command as part of the Decisive Action Training Environment (DATE) tool, which was created in 2021.

One must wonder why the US military and its allies are creating scenarios with Christian nationalists as the bad guys.

There isn't a real-world model for this kind of scenario anywhere on the planet.

As it turns out, Christians are told to love their enemies (Luke 6:27-36), obey the ruling authorities (Romans 13), seek the good of the cities where they live (Jeremiah 29:7), lead quiet lives (1 Thessalonians 4:11-12), and share the good news that there is no king but Jesus and that he has died for our sins (Matthew 28:16-20).

Christians are told not to avenge themselves when people do evil things to them, but are called to take action to defend their families and neighbors from abusers, pirates, and invaders (Proverbs 24:11-12, Romans 13:4, Exodus 22:2-3, Nehemiah 4, Psalm 144:1).

See if you can spot any themes among the non-UN designated terror groups that are recognized by the Kiwi government:

  • Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades

  • Al-Shabaab

  • Ansar Allah (Houthis)

  • Harakat Al-Muqawama al-Islamiya (Hamas)

  • Harakat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami, Bangladesh

  • Hezbollah

  • Indian Mujahideen

  • Islamic State Lanao

  • Islamic State Sinai

  • Jaish Al-Adl

  • Jamaah Anshrout Daulah

  • Palestinian Islamic Jihad

There are also a few armed resistance groups, many of which are communist:

  • Revolutionary People's Liberation Party/Front (Turkey)

  • Partiya Karkeren Kurdistan

  • New People's Army/Communist Party of the Philippines

  • Ejercito de Liberacion Nacional

  • The Shining Path (Peruvian commies)

Those pesky Irish:

  • Continuity Irish Republican Army

  • New Irish Republican Army

A literal Satanist group:

  • Order of Nine Angles

And two neo-Nazi groups:

  • The Terrorgram Collective

  • The Base

Also included on the list is a single mass shooter, Brenton Tarrant, who attacked two mosques in Christchurch in 2019.

Despite none of these groups holding anything in common with faithful Christians who want to impose controls on migration and maintain the Christian heritage of their nations, New Zealand's military is super prepared to fight them!

Why aren't our leaders running war sims that are based in reality instead of la-la land?
