Read this headline for yourself and figure out what's wrong with it:
Yes, I'm sure you saw it. A 26-year-old "youth," or "un joven" in the original Spanish, raped a 22-year-old woman. The victim is younger than the rapist, but only one of them is referred to as a "youth" while the other is a grown up.
It's like when we have "teen takeovers" in the US. We all know what we're really talking about.
You just don't hate journalists enough, in any language.
