TRUMP DOUBLES DOWN on Iran Strikes — REFUSES to Back Down, Insists Military Action Was the “CORRECT” Decision for America’s Future — Predicts Oil Prices Will PLUNGE

is refusing to apologize for his decision to launch military strikes against Iran, insisting that confronting the Iranian regime was the right move for America's long-term security and that oil prices

are already plunging as the conflict heads toward resolution.

According to Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin, four key voting blocs shifted away from Republicans in the November 3, 2026, midterm elections: young voters, independents, rural voters, and Hispanic voters. The war in Iran and President Trump's tariff policies were cited as major sources of dissatisfaction.

Voter dissatisfaction with the Trump administration's handling of the war appears to have hurt Republican candidates, particularly among independents and younger voters. A September Fox News poll found that 60% of registered voters believed military action against Iran was the wrong decision.

In a Tuesday interview with Dasha Burns on Politico Election Live, Trump stood by his decision to take out Iran's nuclear enrichment capacity and decimate its navy, , and missile capabilities.

Trump: "All they have to do is come together. Well, you have to just keep good policy. A lot of people say the oil price because of Iran, but I'm very—I am totally convinced that my decision on Iran, for the long-term good of our country and even the world, was an absolutely correct one, and it continues to be."
