Resurfaced video shows Trump shaming former Prince Andrew over Epstein's 'cesspool island' 11 years before arrest

Resurfaced video shows Trump shaming former Prince Andrew over Epstein's 'cesspool island' 11 years before arrest

President Donald Trump was seen shaming former Prince Andrew over Jeffrey Epstein's 'cesspool island' in a resurfaced clip taken 11 years before the ex-royal's arrest.

Trump called out Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor in February 2015 while at a Bloomberg Politics event.

Andrew was stripped of his Duke of York and other royal and military titles in November last year over his close ties to Epstein.

A reporter brought up Epstein after Trump mentioned him during a Q&A and asked Trump what else he thought about him.

'Well I think he's got a problem. That island was really a cesspool, there's no question about it. Just ask Prince Andrew, he'll tell you about it,' Trump said as he smirked.

The video re-emerged on the same day Andrew was taken into custody on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

The former working royal was arrested at his new Sandringham home on the same day as his 66th birthday following a raid on the property.

The Daily Mail was the first to reveal plain-clothes police, in six unmarked vehicles, had arrived at Wood Farm where Andrew now lives at 8am local time on Thursday.

A convoy, including at least two royal Land Rovers linked to Andrew, was photographed leaving the estate less than an hour later. His arrest was confirmed at 10.08am.

Over the past 10 days, detectives have been probing his conduct as a trade envoy for the UK after emails in the Epstein files suggested he shared confidential information with his pedophile friend, including reports of his official visits and potential investment opportunities.

'We have today arrested a man in his sixties from Norfolk on suspicion of misconduct in public office,' a Thames Valley Police spokesperson said.

The force said its officers are searching an address in Norfolk, believed to be Wood Farm, where Andrew is exiled, and an address in Berkshire, likely to be Royal Lodge in Windsor, where he lived for more than 20 years until this month.

'The man remains in police custody at this time, the spokesman said - but the force would not confirm where Andrew, who is celebrating his birthday today, had been taken.

Norfolk Police said it is 'supporting' the Thames Valley investigation but did not say if one of its stations was being used by detectives to interview Andrew.

Emails released by the US Department of Justice appeared to show the former duke sharing reports of official visits to Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Singapore.

One email, dated November 2010, appeared to be forwarded by Andrew five minutes after being sent by his then-special adviser, Amir Patel.

Another, on Christmas Eve 2010, appeared to send Epstein, who was found dead in his New York jail cell in 2019, a confidential brief on investment opportunities in the reconstruction of Helmand Province, Afghanistan.

Andrew had been staying at the home in Sandringham after he was kicked out of the Royal Lodge in Windsor by his brother, King Charles III, following renewed interest in his links to the pedophile.

His arrest comes after UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer claimed 'nobody is above the law'.

Andrew is yet to be spoken to by detectives, who are assessing a range of claims related to sex trafficking and misconduct in public office and sex trafficking. But his brother King Charles said he stands ready to help the police with their inquiries.

Queen Elizabeth's second son may have passed sensitive information to Epstein in his role as a UK trade envoy.

There are also claims that he may have smuggled a woman into Buckingham Palace who may have been trafficked into Britain on Epstein's 'Lolita Express' jet.

The King's younger brother was pictured in the Epstein files kneeling over a young woman. Andrew denies any wrongdoing.

Giuffre claimed she was forced to have sex with Andrew on three occasions, including on Little St James, also referred to as Epstein Island, in the early 2000s. He has always denied these claims.

Multiple survivors have also alleged they were trafficked to and abused on the island which Epstein purchased in the US Virgin Islands in 1998.

Following Andrews arrest, Trump almost immediately faced furious backlash from lawmakers over the handling of the Epstein case in the US.

MAGA rebel Marjorie Taylor Greene ripped the administration for failing to make any arrests as cops detained the King's brother.

'The UK has arrested Andrew because of the Epstein files and over here the President signed an EO [executive order] protecting cancer causing Glyphosate in our foods and we have zero Epstein related arrest and investigations since release of the files,' Taylor Greene posted on X, referring to the president's recent health policy announcements.

'We are on the verge of going to war against Iran. That's the current state of MAGA,' she added as America's largest force since the Iraq War masses in the Middle East.

Congressional Democrats are also doubling down on their calls for American authorities to take harsher action against the men implicated in the Epstein scandal.

During a Thursday morning news hit on CNN, Congressman Stephen Lynch, a Massachusetts Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, which has led the charge on the Epstein files investigation, said that Trump 'should be worried.'

Representative Melanie Stansbury, a New Mexico Democrat, shared on X, 'If a Prince can be held accountable, so can a President.'

Lynch also quipped during his CNN segment that US authorities are 'doing nothing.'
