Border Patrol arrests illegal Romanian migrant covered in evil clown tattoos

US Border Patrol agents arrested a Romanian illegal immigrant covered in creepy clown tattoos in California.

The man and two other Romanian migrants, who are all connected to a Balkan organized-crime group, were arrested in Oceanside earlier this month.

The heavily-inked man bears a large torso and arm tattoo that features a creepy clown head that is reminiscent of the Joker. The clown is holding two masks in his hands.

His tattoo also includes two heads of women on each pectoral, what appears to be a detective in the middle of his chest, and additional faces and figures down his arms, including an hourglass and what appears to be the words 'thug life.'

The alleged illegal migrant's tattoo also expanded to his entire back, which had a large skull, a man walking, two castles, and what appeared to be Big Ben.

He also has a tattoo across his throat, which appears to say 'son of god' and two dates etched on the sides of his neck.

The three men were stopped and arrested on Interstate 5 on October 9 by the San Clemente Border Patrol, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said.

CBP said the men entered the US illegally from Canada between ports of entry sometime between 2024 and 2025.

Initially, CBP said one of the Romanians was connected to a crime group in a statement last week. In a Facebook post on Friday, the San Diego Sector said all three men were connected to it.

Their names have not been publicly released.

One of the alleged criminals had an active warrant out for him in Virginia for the alleged illicit use of credit cards, the agency said in a statement.

CBP also discovered the group is allegedly connected to a case of a Rolex being stolen from a Los Angeles YMCA locker room in August, the statement said.

The three men were transferred to ICE custody for removal proceedings.

'Border Patrol agents remain vigilant in identifying and stopping individuals who may pose a threat to our communities,' Justin De La Torre, chief patrol agent of the San Diego Sector, said in a statement.

'This arrest demonstrates the value of strong border security, intelligence-driven enforcement, and close coordination among our law enforcement partners. Our agents' diligence helps prevent individuals with criminal ties from operating in our communities.'

Also in October, the San Diego Sector arrested a Mexican national who served nearly 14 years in prison for a murder conviction in Guanajuato.

He also faces removal proceedings.
