Democrats plan to counter President Donald Trump’s State of the Union (SOTU) address by bringing guests related to the Jeffrey Epstein files and Immigration and Customs of Enforcement’s (ICE) operations.

Multiple Democratic lawmakers announced ahead of the president’s major address that they plan to bring guests, including alleged victims of Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, as well as individuals allegedly detained by ICE during protests and riots in Minnesota following the death of Renee Nicole Good.

CNN host and “60 Minutes” correspondent Anderson Cooper visited South Africa to investigate President Donald Trump’s claim of genocide and ultimately reported that the killings of white residents were symptoms of rampant crim.

Cooper’s investigation, aired as a 15-minute segment on “60 Minutes” on Feb. 22, prioritized diminishing Trump’s hyperbolic claims while missing multiple human rights allegations. Cooper said he visited South Africa’s farms “because of what President Trump said last May about the murders of South African farmers” and ultimately reported that the country faces rampant crime with farmers becoming targets of opportunity. Tom Hanks will step into the shoes of former President Abraham Lincoln in the highly anticipated film “Lincoln In The Bardo.”

This is the first time the Oscar-winning actor will play the role of a president, Deadline reported.

The Starburns Industries period-film will reportedly be comprised of a combination of live-action and stop-motion animation, and it will be based on George Saunders’ bestselling book. Hanks will be on double duty as a producer through his Playtone label, according to the outlet.

California Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom admitted his party needs to spend less time on woke politics in an interview with CNN that aired Monday.

Newsom told CNN’s Dana Bash that Democrats need to be “more focused on tabletop issues,” including electricity, childcare and housing costs. He argued that, from a “tactical perspective,” Democrats need to be more “culturally normal” in their politics.

Victims of the Palisades Fire are slamming the City of Los Angeles after they say they received bills alleging noncompliance with brush clearance rules despite having lost their homes.

Residents allege they have received $31 noncompliance bills in the mail over a year after the Palisades Fire occurred, according to FOX 11. Christine Martinez, one of the residents who lost her home in the fire, told FOX 11 receiving a noncompliance bill was “one final blow.”

The United States allegedly provided the Mexican government with intelligence that helped locate cartel leader Nemesio “El Mencho” Rubén Oseguera Cervantes according to Reuters.

The Mexican army conducted an operation Sunday to capture El Mencho which led to the infamous cartel leader’s death. A lover of the now-deceased cartel leader El Mencho accidentally betrayed him to Mexican authorities before he was shot dead during a sweeping operation Sunday, officials said.

Mexican forces killed El Mencho, whose given name was Nemesio Ruben Oseguera Cervantes, during a drug raid that took place in the state of Jalisco in western Mexico, Metro.co.uk reported. El Mencho helmed the deadly Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).

Nick Reiner pleaded not guilty Monday to two counts of first-degree murder in the killing of both his parents, famous director Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner.

His lawyer, Deputy Public Defender Kimberly Greene, submitted the plea in his name while he remained behind glass in an enclosed custody section inside a Los Angeles, California, courtroom, according to The Associated Press (AP). Nick appeared without the suicide prevention smock he wore during his December appearance in court. He spoke only to say yes to a question from the judge, and was otherwise communicating through his attorney.
