Hunter Biden appeared on The Tucker Carlson Show's latest episode, calling Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "evil incarnate" and claiming he never dropped off the infamous laptop at the Delaware computer repair shop at which it was allegedly found.
In addition, Biden criticized Washington's political establishment during the interview, saying there has been a failure of what he called the "elite oligarch Epstein class of Washington, D.C." Biden later argued for closing the "revolving door" between presidential administrations and private-sector work. He also admitted his own decision to join the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma while his father was vice president was a "stupid thing to do."
The conversation also turned to stock trading by members of Congress, with Carlson arguing lawmakers should be prohibited from trading stocks while in office. Biden agreed, calling a ban "the most common sense thing in the world," and argued similar restrictions should apply to administration officials with access to sensitive information. Biden then accused Trump of using paid early access to his Truth Social posts in a way that could

The public university which became the location of the Sept. 10, 2025, assassination of Charlie Kirk has reportedly withdrawn from a joint memorial event with the organization the late conservative political activist founded, Turning Point USA.
Utah Valley University (UVU) allegedly backed out of a Sept. 10, 2026, service planned to honor Kirk on the first anniversary of his assassination on its campus, The Cougar Chronicle reported, citing an anonymous source. The source claims Turning Point USA is seeking a new memorial location on short notice and is frustrated with the public university's reported sudden withdrawal.
"Healing continues in different ways for each member of our university community as we approach September 10, the one-year anniversary of the tragic events surrounding Charlie Kirk's death," an Aug. 7 UVU email to students and employees said, The Cougar Chronicle reported. "To provide time and space for reflection, service, and connection, UVU will close operations [September 10]." Randall said the charter school already serves approximately 1,200 students and has a waitlist of more than 1,000.

A WNBA player torched by referees for a violent foul turned to social media and pointed at race.
Chicago Sky guard DiJonai Carrington drew a flagrant 2 and an ejection Saturday for a hard foul on Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham, then posted the words "WHITE PRIVILEGE" on her Threads account and tagged the Fever.
The foul landed late in the first quarter of a game Indiana won 90-86. Cunningham was out ahead of the pack on a fast-break layup when Carrington chased her down and struck her across the face and neck, dropping her to the floor as the shot fell, the Associated Press (AP) reported. Officials initially assessed a flagrant 1, then upgraded it after review, citing windup, impact and follow-through on the play. (RELATED: Fever's Sophie Cunningham Speaks On Protecting Female Sports)
Cunningham rejected any suggestion that race played a part. "I think the league is taking care of that. This has nothing to do with race. Last year, I did the same thing and I got kicked out. And I

Benjamin Netanyahu has slammed the door on the American plan to strip Hamas of its weapons.
The Israeli prime minister told a Sunday cabinet meeting that his government would not sign onto the 15-point proposal drawn up by President Donald Trump's Board of Peace, according to the New York Post. Netanyahu insisted Israeli troops would stay put in Gaza until the terror group surrenders its arsenal.
"I want to be precise here: Israel rejects the 15-point document," Netanyahu said, according to the Post. He added that the military "will not withdraw at all until Hamas is genuinely disarmed and will continue to thwart threats against our forces and citizens." Talks with Washington are still running, the prime minister said, even as the two governments spar over how any deal should unfold. "They have ideas, some of which are acceptable to us and some are not, and we know how to stand up to those things," he said, the Post reported.

Bill Maher torched Anthony Fauci's ego as the real casualty of the pandemic.
The HBO host devoted the closing "New Rule" segment of his Aug. 8 "Real Time" broadcast to Fauci, arguing that the former government scientist let celebrity worship warp his judgment during the COVID-19 crisis. Maher told his audience the doctor showed clear signs of what he called "main character syndrome," a condition fed by Hollywood praise and left-wing adulation.
Much of the segment drew on Fauci's personal diary, which Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul released in late July. Reading aloud from the entries, Maher recited Fauci's own words about his fame. (RELATED: Rand Paul Hilariously Dunks On Uninformed Liberal Pundit)
"It is not hyperbole to say I am the most famous and talked about person in the country. The nurses went absolutely wild to see me. I am such a valued spokesperson and a good communicator. One person said that Tyra Banks was sexy, but I was even more sexy than she was," Maher read, according to the broadcast. He then quipped
Some Virginia anti-data center activists and candidates are seemingly linked to a Marxist-Leninist party tied to the Chinese Communist Party, according to public records, social media and news reports.
Local Virginia political figures have appeared in connection with the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), a Marxist-Leninist organization that seeks to replace US capitalism with socialism. Data center opposition has intensified across Virginia over concerns about rising electricity demand and costs, water use, noise pollution and facilities being built near homes, according to the Virginia Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission. Those issues are especially pronounced in Northern Virginia, where the state's data center industry is focused.
These local figures include Frederick County Board of Supervisors candidate Alexander Ritter, Winchester activist Klio Stroubakis and grassroots political organizer Jack Tensley.
Each of these local figures is also connected with the local anti-data center Protect Frederick organization. Protect Frederick is an "independent community effort by Frederick County residents" to oppose data center projects, according to the organization's website.
Tensley, Ritter and Stroubakis are all among the 2,503 signatures on Protect Frederick's petition

A report possibly linked to the U.S. intelligence community believes Israel seemingly aims to entrench itself in U.S. institutions and more permanently capture American support.
Members of the CIA and other U.S. intelligence officials allegedly wrote an assessment about Israel's strategy to connect itself to American weapons, industrial, and intelligence programs, a Capital & Empire report claims. The alleged report claimed that public U.S. aid to Israel would gradually be replaced by long-term, institutional relationships through which financial aid could subtly spread between government programs.
The alleged CIA document has yet to be publicly released, and the names of any specific individuals enacting this plan have not been disclosed, Capital & Empire reported.
