Totally-not-male Indian migrant serving in Scottish Parliament says rape is "a spectrum"

Our favorite non-binary Indian-European parliamentarian is back in the news again, this time for a resurfaced 2025 clip.

Q Manivannan, the trans Indian migrant with a five-year parliament term and three-year visa, is on record speaking about the "demonization" of rapists, saying that rape is a "spectrum" of behavior, so we should maybe take it easy on rapists.

And I think our distaste towards rape is towards rape. It's towards the idea of and the act of rape, not towards the myth of this monster rapist ... because there definitely is a demonization of rape, as it is a spectrum.

There are all sorts of different types of rapes, and obviously we hate rape, but we really should not demonize rapists.
