Senator Mitch McConnell was discharged from the rehab center and said he will continue his recovery at home.

McConnell was hospitalized on June 14 after he was found unconscious at his DC home.

"Earlier today, I was discharged from the rehabilitation center to continue my recovery at home. Elaine and I are grateful for the many well wishes and support from friends, colleagues, and Kentuckians, and for the attentive care I've received from excellent doctors, nurses, therapists, and hospital staff," McConnell said in a statement.

"On the advice of my doctors, I'll maintain an intensive regimen of physical therapy from home during the state work period, and I'll continue to engage with my staff and colleagues on important Senate business," McConnell said.

Democrat Manny Rutinel, running for Congress in Colorado's 8th Congressional District, which accounts for 26% of the state's beef and cattle output, and with 75% of its 2.5 million acres devoted to farming and raising livestock, is under fire for a resurfaced paper that attacks his constituents' livelihoods.

The paper, Reducing Animal Agriculture Emissions: The Viability of a Farm Transition Carbon Offset Protocol by Rutinel and Sebastian Quaade, was published in 2022 and suggests that the Paris Agreement's goals on fossil fuels are not enough and that there should be "ambitious policies that reform our food system."

"Despite the growing awareness of animal agriculture's climate impact, climate policy and action have historically focused on electricity and fuel use."

A description of the paper reads, "Animal agriculture is one of the leading sources of greenhouse gas emissions. Carbon offset markets allow entities to reduce their overall climate impact

EXCLUSIVE VIDEO – How Often Does Congress Show Up To Work? Will August Recess Be Cancelled? – Lawmakers Weigh-In

As the midterm elections loom and Republicans are at risk of losing at least one chamber, President Trump is pushing hard to pass his legislative agenda these next few months. Most notably the SAVE America Act.

Every single year, both the House and the Senate leave for the month of August for this yearly tradition known as "August Recess." The House left at the end of July and the Senate is set to leave at the end of the week.

Given that Members of Congress will typically arrive in Washington DC around Monday afternoon the earliest and they usually fly back to their respective states by Thursday afternoon, they come to work an average of three days a week.

In addition to getting August Recess and showing up to work less days a week than the average American, Congress also gets the month of October

John Solomon from Just the News broke the news on Wednesday that Majority Leader John Thune and Senator Tom Cotton are blocking DOJ investigator Joe DiGenova from obtaining the transcripts of John Brennan's interviews with the Senate Judiciary and Intelligence Committees.

This is holding up the investigation into Brennan and his role in the deep state coup to take down President Trump in 2016.

According to Solomon, the acting Attorney General Todd Blanche refuses to authorize a subpoena to the US Senate to obtain the documents.

Solomon made the accusations on The War Room with Steve Bannon.

On Thursday Todd Blanche responded to the accusations.

Blanche says there is no daylight between him and Leader Thune and Chairman Cotton.

If that is correct, then why has investigator Joe DiGenova not received the information?

Will Blanche make sure DiGenova has the information

Ukraine Defense Reshuffle: Why Did Ukraine Fire Its Popular Defense Minister?

At 35, Mykhailo Fedorov was one of Ukraine's most popular officials, credited with modernizing the military through drones, digital technology, and procurement reform before his controversial dismissal for reasons that remain disputed. Photo courtesy of Mykhailo Fedorov via X.

In June, after days of missile barrages that failed to bring about a Ukrainian surrender, then-Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said, "Russia launched 30 ballistic missiles at Kyiv just days ago. That is the maximum Putin can show. He cannot advance on the battlefield and achieve his goals with Shaheds or cruise missiles. So he fires everything at civilians and calls it strength."

He went on to observe, "When the battlefield does not give Moscow victory, the Kremlin tries to manufacture fear from the sky. That is not strength. It is frustration with a missile trail."

Mykhailo Fedorov was a 35-year-old technocrat who had previously transformed Ukraine's digital governance as Minister of Digital Transformation through

A reporter asked Trump about his plans with the weaponization fund after he laid out plans to restore the fund on Saturday, and he confirmed the fund will be “back on the table.”
