Two Afghan migrants followed a 14-year-old girl onto a train before repeatedly sexually assaulting her in the toilets, a court heard.
Baryalai Rahimi, 25, and Mirebadurahman Sadat, 29, allegedly ignored the vulnerable teenager's repeated pleas as they abused her on a mid-afternoon Southeastern service travelling from Kent to London Bridge on February 5.
Rahimi and Sadat deny a total of 20 charges including multiple counts of sexual activity with a child.
The pair appeared at Inner London Crown Court today wearing green prison-issue jumpers, aided by Dari and Farsi interpreters. They spoke only to confirm their names.
Prosecutor Richard Witcombe told the court: 'The prosecution case is that both defendants, Mr Rahimi and Mr Sadat, saw her as a vulnerable teenage girl on her own and decided to take advantage of her sexually on a train.
'The prosecution say they both assaulted her sexually in a number of ways on the train. Mr Rahimi, in fact, took her to the toilet twice and raped her there.'
The girl later told police: 'I was scared of him, he was in control of me.'
The prosecutor added: 'She will tell you she had said no, that she had not consented to, and did not want the things that happened to her on the train.
'She will tell you that she thought if she said no to Sadine, that is Mr Rahimi, he would just get mad or hurt her.'

Baryalai Rahimi, 25, and Mirebadurahman Sadat, 29, appeared today at Inner London Crown Court
Jurors heard the men had approached the girl on the platform when Rahimi began complimenting her looks and kissed her as Sadat sat some distance away.
About five minutes after boarding the train to London Bridge, the girl was sitting on Rahimi's lap, the court heard.
He kissed and sexually assaulted her, said Mr Witcombe.
'All of this after she had said to him on the platform in the moments that preceded this that she was 14,' he continued.
'All of this in the moments preceding this, she had unsuccessfully said no.'
He said Rahimi took the girl into the toilet and raped her.
'She said it upset her as it really hurt,' Mr Witcombe said.
Rahimi then raped her twice more, it is claimed.
Jurors heard DNA matching Rahimi was later found on the floor of the train toilets and in the girl's clothing.
Following the alleged assaults Rahimi returned to sit with Sadat, who was said to have told his friend: 'Yeah, yeah she's my type.'
Mr Witcombe told the court that Sadat then assaulted the girl twice.
Following their arrest, Rahimi gave a prepared interview, claiming: 'I asked the female her age and she told me she was 17 years old. She looked 17-18 years old, so I believed her.'
He insisted: 'The female was the one who was very forward. What happened was all started and instigated by her and was consensual.'
He denied they had penetrative sex.
Sadat said in a prepared statement: 'Although I have some memory issues, I did not do what I am accused of. I deny these offences.'
Rahimi, of Southall, west London, denies three counts of rape, two of sexual assault, one of assault by penetration and six alternative counts of sexual activity with a child.
Sadat, of Cricklewood, northwest London, denies two counts of assault by penetration, two of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent and four alternative counts of sexual activity with a child.
The trial continues and is expected to last three weeks.
