Man Accused of Sexual Misconduct with Minor After Baby Abandoned in Indianapolis Woods

A 21-year-old man has been arrested and accused of sexual misconduct with a teen girl after a baby was found abandoned in a wooded area in Indianapolis on July 24.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) said they found the newborn baby near the tree line of a trail near Lace Bark Lane and Long Wharf Drive after receiving reports of an abandoned child. Authorities said the newborn baby was transported to a local hospital for a welfare check and was reported in stable condition.

Host Kasie Hunt asked, “When you look at the landscape, are there more Republicans than meet the eye who are opposed to the Blanche nomination over these issues that Cornyn and Tillis have raised?” Hunt asked. “And is that number potentially five senators or more like 15?”

Massachusetts Senate Passes Bill to Allow Late-Term Abortions, Sends to Governor’s Desk

The Democrat-dominated Massachusetts state Senate passed a late-term abortion bill on Friday and sent it to Gov. Maura Healey’s (D) desk for approval. 

The bill, called “An Act Prioritizing Patient Access to Care” or H.5595, would ultimately allow unborn babies to be aborted throughout pregnancy in the state and would strike down the state’s current 24-week limit, which has exceptions for the life of the mother and a deadly fetal diagnosis. Under the bill, doctors would have the discretion to decide whether or not to perform a late-term abortion, the Washington Post reported

The Trump State Department has revoked over 100,000 visas, State Department spokesperson Tommy Pigott said during an appearance on Breitbart News Daily.

When asked about the Trump administration’s efforts to keep “reckless foreign drivers off our streets by revoking visas and denying further travel to the United States,” Pigott explained that when it comes to the department’s visa revocation policy, they have already revoked well over 100,000 visas.

Senate Committee Votes to Block Part of Trump Admin’s Effort to Dismantle Department of Education

Republican Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME) and Lisa Murkowski (A-AK) are working with Democrat Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) on a bill to block part of the Trump administration’s effort to dismantle the Department of Education (ED). 

On Thursday, the Senate HELP (Health, Education, Labor and Pensions) Committee approved the bill, S. 5046, in a 13-9 vote to prohibit ED from moving special education and several other education offices to other federal agencies, Politico reported.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deported more illegal aliens from the United States this week, including those convicted of kidnapping, assault with a weapon, and cocaine smuggling, among other things.

“Just yesterday, ICE deported criminal illegal aliens that include pedophiles, kidnappers, burglars, and gang members,” the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Lauren Bis said.

President Donald Trump’s State Department has started revoking visas for foreign nationals arrested for drunk driving, agency officials announced this week.

“The Trump Administration is keeping reckless foreign drivers off our streets by revoking visas and denying further travel to the United States,” officials wrote in a statement. “The State Department is keeping our streets safe from foreign nationals who drive impaired, disregard laws, and endanger Americans.”

Trump: Cornyn Making Blanche 'Pawn' Because He's Angry over Paxton Endorsement

President Donald Trump told reporters Friday that Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) is holding up the confirmation of Todd Blanche as attorney general because he is angry Trump endorsed Ken Paxton in Texas’s Republican U.S. Senate primary.

Cornyn, who is on the Judiciary Committee and whose support is critical to advancing Blanche’s nomination out of the committee, is withholding any support of Blanche, the acting attorney general, until he receives written assurances from the Justice Department “that the fund be rescinded and that the scope of the IRS audit immunity agreement in the settlement be narrowed,” as ABC News reported.
