President Donald Trump on Tuesday slammed "communist" judges for attempting to assume the duties of the president.
"We cannot allow a handful of communist, radical judges to obstruct the enforcement of our laws and assume the duties that belong solely to the President of the United States," Trump said during his "100 Days" rally in Michigan.
Amid Trump's executive actions, he has had some judges rule against him when it comes to immigration and letting go thousands of federal workers.
Specifically, U.S. District Judge James Boasberg said Trump couldn't use the Alien Enemies Act to deport Venezuelans that were allegedly gang members. He ruled that there is "probable cause" to find the Trump administration in contempt of court for violating his order to pause deportations under the Alien Enemies Act.
"Judges are trying to give away the power given to the president to keep our country safe and it's not a good thing," Trump said.
He said he hoped the Supreme Court would step in and save the country.
"I hope for the sake of our country that the Supreme Court is going to save this because we have to do something," Trump said.
