Watch: Jasmine Crockett Is Very Upset That President Trump Didn’t ‘Holla’ At Her

When President Donald Trump announced a targeted strike on multiple nuclear facilities in Iran, he received some pushback from both sides of the aisle in Congress.

After the attack resulted in an apparent ceasefire between Israel and Iran, however, the assessment of even some of his leftist critics began to soften.

But for Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), Trump’s decision to act on his executive power without first going through Congress was too much to bear.

Despite plenty of examples of Democratic presidents similarly approving military strikes, here’s what Crockett had to say about Trump earlier this week, per Breitbart:

“I go back in on Monday. You could have holla’d at us on Monday, if you truly felt like there was something, like — there is nothing that they will say that will make me believe that this action needed to take place, and it needed to take place without the consultation of the Congress,” she said.

When an aide asked her how the Senate could “make them accountable for what they’re doing,” Crockett replied, “The systems have broken down.”

“The systems have broken down because people have legitimately decided that they would rather serve him than serve the people that put them into office,” she explained, referring to Trump.

Her remarks also sparked significant social media reaction:

Those weren’t Crockett’s only colorful words regarding the president’s actions.

According to Fox News:

Crockett, an outspoken progressive, is part of the chorus of voices on the left accusing Trump of wrongly bypassing Congress in his military operation against Tehran’s nuclear sites.

Trump officials have maintained that they are in compliance with the War Powers Act.

“We are living in this time in which there is someone who is occupying the White House who does not care about any rules, any norms, any laws, nor the Constitution. And we cannot be a civilized country if there is no law and order,” Crockett said.

She then launched an attack on Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration, accusing him of doing more harm with his strikes on Iran.

“I know that they may claim, ‘We law and order, blah blah blah. So go get the undocumented people and let’s try to ship them out.’ Let me tell you something – they are not the people that are putting us in harm’s way,” Crockett said.

“It is him and his administration that is putting us in harm’s way.”

Crockett called on her supporters to confront Trump supporters, adding, “I literally need you to wake them the f— up, because everything since he has stepped into office has done nothing other than put us in harm’s way.”
