THE DANGERS OF JUST IN TIME WORLD COMMERCE

The US present just in time system of imports in a war would prevent the US from ramping up its industries for defense as in 1941 should the Chinese be our adversaries as their advanced submarines will block our sea imports nor could we readily arm ourselves as our factories would be consequently idle.

England faced a similar dilemma in World War Two so dependent is their island on imports as the German submarines were blocking their imports sinking the ships. The US then was largely self-sufficient as our leadership then were not nincompoops as they were before Trump in farming out our industries all over the world. When the US entered the war in 1941 it could not even contemplate sending troops to Europe until the German submarines were neutralized much less military supplies. The US was later able to neutralize German submarines with newly developed weapons. If war strikes now with China the US would collapse as ocean commerce would end. Our military dependent industries on sea commerce should have the supply factories brought back home at the very least. No one thinks about the weakness of our present systems.

Today’s predicament was caused by foreign dirty floats which was used by our friends to destroy our industries as outlined in the Secretary of the Treasury Robert Ruben correspondence 27 years ago below. I was behind earlier the Plaza Accords when Japan was our leading foreign manufacturer destroying our industries. James Baker was quick study and very brilliant. All so-called foreign friends participated in the current destruction of our industries. This, too, has to be reversed. The media is too incompetent to understand anything. The US educational system is largely worthless if not immoral.
