Well, it’s finally happened: the Trump White House has sent a rescissions package to Congress containing $1.1 Billion in cuts to funding for NPR and PBS. Now House Republicans just have to pass it.

The vast majority of Republicans seem to be on board with the cuts. But for those who are still uncertain, we’ve put together a little video demonstrating exactly what they’ll be giving taxpayer money to in the event that they vote against the package: 

 

This is really just the tip of the iceberg. We’ve written extensively about the insane things with which leftists have flooded America’s public airwaves over the years. 

Let it be understood that any Republican who votes to continue funding NPR and PBS is voting to continue supporting: 

A radio station which just three years ago aired actual audio of a woman getting an abortion.

A radio station that described the Communist Manifesto as a “stalwart text,” and a “stirring refuge,” for people who feel “betrayed by the so-called free market.”

A news network where a guest said live on air that she hoped Clarence Thomas would die prematurely of heart disease – and then was invited back.

A news network where these two things were said by the same host barely a year apart: 

JEFFREY GOLDBERG (FEB 2024): “Mentally, he [Biden] is quite acute.”
JEFFREY GOLDBERG (MAY 2025): “I don’t understand how this narrative has developed that the media was covering for Biden.”

This is not a difficult decision. Let’s hope Congress makes the right one.
