When a car ploughed through football fans on a Liverpool street in the UK during the Liverpool FC Victory Parade on May 28th 2025, with an alleged 79 people injured, the world was outraged. Initial reactions veered from fury and anger to confusion and despair.
Memories of the Hillsborough Disaster of 1989 surfaced, stirring up all kinds of emotion.
As the days went by, however, the public were sensing that something wasn’t quite right with regard to the reporting of this shocking event. When the national newspapers published photos of a man called Paul Desmond Sanders Doyle, naming him as the driver of the car and perpetrator of this heinous crime, people were baying for his blood. Within hours of these photos being published, however, eagle-eyed armchair detectives discovered that the photos weren’t recent with many saying they weren’t even photos of Paul Doyle.

First stop for many social media sleuths is a brief visit to IMDb website to see if the perpetrator was listed as an actor or crisis actor. The name of a dancer/actor called Paul Doyle popped up but, despite a passing resemblance to the guy in the newspaper and Facebook photographs, it became quickly apparent that he was a different guy.

Head, hand and ear shapes were fervently analysed and many came to the conclusion that the man in the photo in the car is not the man in any of the photos shared in the press; nor is he the same many featured in the courtroom sketches.
Other observations and theories are cropping up on a hourly basis – Doyle’s initials of PDSD being the same as the acronym for Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (to name but one) – but rather than jumping to conclusions, let’s work with the facts, not presumptions.
So what’s going on here?
Let’s start by checking the information we’ve been presented with so far:
What we don’t have:
Questions that need to be asked based on the information we’ve been given so far:
Those with an understanding of how the world works have slid deeper down the rabbit hole, asking whether the whole upsetting event was a false flag. Was it a psy-op, orchestrated to cause civil unrest in an area known as being a hotbed for social experimentation? (This is a whole new investigation in itself but worth considering.) Could it have been set up to distract from other news stories that are threatening to destabilise the already wobbly structure of UK politics – the story about Keir and the Ukrainian rent-boys perhaps?
I’m sure there are more questions to be asked and no doubt further theories will develop as the story unfolds and the mainstream narrative unravels.
When looking into an incident like this, it’s never good to presume, but (contrary to mainstream opinion) I believe there’s no harm in speculating – even publicly – and absolutely nothing wrong with questioning a narrative, especially a mainstream one.
And for now, in my opinion, that’s what we should all be doing.
