Selfish Boomer Illustrates Why Conservatives in Canada Lost
A CNN interview with an elderly voter in Canada encapsulates perfectly how the Conservatives lost the election because of selfish boomers brainwashed by legacy media narratives.
The Liberal Party won the election as a minority government despite the fact that Canada had experienced 10 years of turmoil under woke nightmare Justin Trudeau.
Despite denouncing Trump on the eve of the election, Conservative Pierre Poilievre threw away a 25 point lead and ended up losing largely because a huge contingent of boomers wanted to spite Trump for his trolling of Canada and imposition of tariffs.
One graph illustrates how older voters were so easily brainwashed by this narrative, they placed their dislike for Trump over and above literally making Canada “a better place to live,” along with every other important issue.
One older Canadian voter told CNN, “I think who I voted for would be the best to take care of Trump, because Trump is, I’m sorry to say, an asshole, and he shouldn’t even be president of the United States, but because he is, we need a strong person so that we can stand strong.”
And that’s how the residual power of “Orange Man Bad” is still deciding major national elections in 2025.
Polls indicate that younger voters aged 18-34, many of whom can no longer afford to buy a house due to rampant inflation, mass migration, and a cost of living crisis, voted for the Conservatives by a margin of around 44 per cent versus 30 per cent for the Liberal Party.
The Conservatives captured around 50 per cent of the vote from those aged 35-54, compared to around 38 per cent for the Liberal Party.
However, boomers turned out in numbers for the Liberals, with those aged 55+ voting 55 per cent for the Liberals versus 38 per cent for the Conservatives, and that’s what swung the result.
Illustrating how Canada has been deluged by mass migration, Pierre Poilievre lost his own Ottawa-area seat due to massive demographic changes in the area.
Boomers will literally vote for the demographic deracination of their own country in order to ensure the value of their house goes up by 1 per cent.
Given the recent election in Germany was also won by a coalition of leftist/establishment parties due to older voters coming out in force to continue the status quo, a serious question needs to be asked.
What to do about the boomer problem?
