John Kerry Didn’t Expect This Zinger From An MSNBC Interview…
During an interview with MSNBC, host Chris Jansing reminded John Kerry, formerly Barack Obama’s Secretary of State, that he was in charge when Crimea was annexed by Russia.
Hoo boy, he didn’t like that.
Kerry immediately got uber defensive, interrupting Jansing and lecturing her “When they stated they were.”

“We did not allow them to annex it. And we stood and we stood up against it and called it against international law,” Kerry protested.
Certainly seems like you did allow it.
Jansing didn’t even mean anything by the comment, it’s just a fact, but she quickly ‘corrected’ herself, agreeing with Kerry that “They said it.”
“Yeah, they said it, but under international law, that does not make it theirs,” Kerry responded.
So hang on. What you’re saying is…
"We only let Russia annex Crimea in reality, not on paper." – John Kerry

Surprisingly, Kerry had something positive to say about President Trump’s efforts to negotiate a peace deal.
“I applaud the president for pursuing this. I know he’s dogged about it. He wants to have peace. I believe that, and I wish him well in their efforts to try to get there,” Kerry stated.
“It’s a tough task, but it’s doable. And I think it’s really important for the administration to continue to work at it,” he added.
As we highlighted yesterday, Trump appears to have lost patience with Vladimir Putin, and also blasted critics in the media, stating that he “never had anything to do with this stupid war” and that the Biden and Obama regimes paved the way for it.
