Ballistic missiles are airborne as Iran launches retaliatory strikes on Israel in the wake of Jerusalem's targeting of its senior leadership and nuclear facilities. 

The IDF has confirmed the launch of a second wave of Iranian missiles.

Video footage shows explosions in Tel Aviv and columns of smoke rising from the city. Iron Dome defenses are intercepting some projectiles, though some can clearly be seen to penetrate Israeli air defenses.

Israel forces have warned the public to seek shelter. The IDF, for its part, has stated that "all of Israel is under fire as Iran fires projectiles."

The scope of the attack remains unclear. Various open-source accounts have reported that at least 100 missiles have come from Iran. There are also reports of launches from the Houthis in Yemen.
