Ford Motors recently disclosed that its recall of over 200,000 vehicles is because of issues related to its rearview camera, which could distract drivers or decrease a driver's view.
The company highlighted the issue in a report to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration late last month, stating that in some cases the image from the camera stays on longer than it should, or a blank image comes up.
Ford customers who are impacted by the error can get their software updated at a dealer free of charge. Customers who are potentially impacted should also be getting a letter in the mail about the recall by July 28.
