A report on X from the account Viral News NYC shared disturbing information about a home break-in at the home of a retired Homeland Security Investigations agent that occurred in May. "A source tells me a retired @HSI_HQ agent and his family were attacked during a violent home invasion in Tijuana, Mexico on May 12–13," the account states.

"Four men reportedly broke into their upscale home, tied them up, robbed them, and sexually assaulted the agent’s wife and teenage daughter while forcing him to watch," Viral News reported. 

Viral News told Human Events that the DHA agent retired to Tijuana after working for the government and lived in a prosperous residential neighborhood. The agent "worked on both sides of the border as an HSI special agent and supervisor," Human Events was told, and "worked in Mexico while working for HSA as a part of his duties."

This agent's family is just one of five cases in which this has occurred. "The youngest victim of the sexual assaults was an infant child," Viral News told Human Events.

This comes as House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries called for the names of ICE agents who are involved in "aggressive overreach" to be released to the public. "Every single ICE agent who is engaged in this aggressive overreach, and are trying to hide their identities from the American people, will be unsuccessful in doing that. This is America, this is not the Soviet Union, we are not behind the Iron Curtain, this is not the 1930s," Jeffries said.

"And every single one of them, no matter what it takes, no matter how long it takes, will be identified. That in fact is the law. And we're gonna make sure that the American people have the transparency necessary to hold people accountable when there are folks who cross the line here in America. That's what's gonna happen," he continued.

Law enforcement officials working on deportations and arrests of criminal illegal immigrants have already been targeted by elected leaders, such as New Jersey Rep. LaMonica McIver and Worcester city councilor Etel Haxhiaj in Massachusetts. 

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu likened the law enforcement agents to neo-Nazis while California local leaders have said that ICE agents engage in "state-sponsored terrorism" when they conduct arrests and workplace enforcement.
