By allowing these people into Nashville as an illegal alien sanctuary, Mayor Freddie O'Connell and the rest of the city government have put the lives of Tennesseans in danger.
As seen over the last few days. ICE (US Immigration and Customs Enforcement) has infiltrated the city of Los Angeles, California, after illegal migrants, protests, civil unrest, and political promotion of violence have overtaken the metro area. Even Los Angeles Police Chief Jim McConnell stated, "This thing has gotten out of control."
California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass have repeatedly threatened to use their political power to protect the illegal aliens in this region, but ICE, The Department of Defense through the National Guard, and the Department of Homeland Security under President Donald Trump have initiated actions to root corruption from these officials out, and bring peace to the California city once and for all through the use of brute force.
As ICE and the federal government began to rain down on the city, violent acts and calls for violence have overtaken the streets of LA and painted California as the hellscape it is under Democratic leadership across the nation.
To maintain law and order, when things have gone this extreme in the horrid land of Los Angeles, the Trump Administration did the right thing by going in and detaining those who were not supposed to be there in the first place, which is precisely what needs to happen in the city of Nashville, Tennessee.
Nashville Metropolis Mayor Freddie O'Connell, a longtime Democrat, has stated he will prevent the same fate that Los Angeles has now suffered after May operations led to nearly 200 arrests of migrants, saying, "What's clear today is that people who do not share our values of safety and community have the authority to cause deep community harm."
Asserting that ICE, the Trump Administration, and the Department of Homeland Security do not have their best interests at heart is unbelievably asinine. Despite warnings from Tennessee legislators, such as House Speaker Cameron Sexton, House Republican Caucus Chair Jeremy Faison, and US Senator Marsha Blackburn, to allow ICE to facilitate these operations and keep these communities safe, O'Connell has continued to rebuke them all and desires to make Nashville a harbor for illegal migrants determined to make things worse for Nashville, Davidson County, and the state of Tennessee as a whole.
In contrast to a city like Los Angeles, which is at the heart of California's liberal movement, Nashville is the capital of the state of Tennessee. This dominantly red state is governed by conservatives at the federal, state, and local levels overwhelmingly.
This state ushered in Republican control in the state legislature, the governor's mansion, and an 8-1 majority of Tennessee's congressional delegation. O'Connell and Nashville's humongous city council are the only ones standing in the way of ICE or any entity that wants to root out the ongoing invasion that this country's voters have holistically voted to implement harsh immigration law to stop. Mayor Freddie O'Connell does not speak for all Tennesseeans or his city but for the leftist mindset that endangers the men, women, and, most importantly, children of this state. He is not only a threat to peace, but he is now putting his constituents' lives in danger and doing so openly and proudly.
The situation in Los Angeles, while stunning and sad, is an example of how these municipalities that harbor control and power like a gremlin need to be brought down to size. Immigration law is the responsibility of the United States Federal Government, not of some leftist in a Republican threshold to prove himself to the world as the good guy in a red state full of bad guys.
We have witnessed what happens when ICE is rejected by local authorities in Los Angeles. The National Guard was called, and the state will have to succumb to the rightful authority instead of harboring people that damage our country's sovereignty, culture, and way of life.
The way things are currently going in Nashville, obstruction needs to be met with force by ICE, DHS, DOD, and eventually, the National Guard if O'Connell continues to interfere with the Trump Administration's efforts.
Being anti-illegal aliens is not inhumane, but instead, an advocacy for a peaceful and prosperous country. Foreign invaders have absolutely no right to our land, our taxpayer money, benefits, or jobs that could be given to American citizens. By allowing these people into Nashville as an illegal alien sanctuary, Mayor Freddie O'Connell and the rest of the city government have put the lives of Tennesseans in danger.
The city government needs to either step aside or be handled appropriately by federal authorities. ICE has every right to deport these aliens from our state and our country, and any barrier around that is sacrificing the peace and tranquility away from the people of Tennessee. If Mayor O'Connell continues to obstruct, send in the troops and tell him to get out of the way.
