JACK POSOBIEC and MIKE CERNOVICH: Los Angeles is an occupied city—Americans are in favor of mass deportations

“It is time to retake the cities of this country. It is time to use power, it is time to use force."

Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec spoke with Mike Cernovich on Monday’s Human Events Daily, where they discussed the wave of riots in Los Angeles following recent ICE operations, the role of illegal immigration in shaping American politics, and their view that US cities are under foreign occupation.

To kick things off, Posobiec delivered a solo monologue condemning the current state of Los Angeles and calling for the use of force to regain control over American cities. “Let me be blunt, it’s very clear what’s going on here. The city of Los Angeles is an occupied city. It’s occupied by invaders, who were in many cases allowed in,” Posobiec said. “You can sit there and point the finger and say, well Biden let this happen, the border, and the amnesty in the past years, but I don’t care about that anymore.”

“It is time to retake the cities of this country. It is time to use power, it is time to use force. It is time to use shows of force to take back the city and to expel the invaders back to Mexico or the Middle East or wherever it is that they might come from. China, whatever, I don’t care. I don’t care,” Posobiec continued. “I don’t want to see foreign flags flying over my city like that. I don’t want to see people standing on top of police cars and Waymos acting like the city is theirs, and guess what boys and girls, that’s what it looks like when you’re conquered. That’s what it looks like when you lose.”

He blamed political leaders and voters for allowing the situation to develop, saying, “Go and take a look at this. All of these streets that you see—the fire, the smoke, the foreign flags—that’s on you. That’s on you because you gave up. We allowed this to happen. Now we’re in the position to do something about it, because if we don’t do something now, we’re done. We’re completely done and every city in America will look like this.”

“It is time to wake up, it is time to retake the cities and yes, we’re talking police, I’m talking law enforcement, yes I’m talking military. And if you come back and you start attacking federal officers who are out there doing their job and enforcing the laws of this country then you bring upon yourself whatever the consequences are,” he said.

Later in the episode, Posobiec was joined by Mike Cernovich, who said mass deportation policies are widely supported and necessary to fix downstream problems in American politics.

“Mass deportations are an 80-20 issue because it’s downstream from everything,” Cernovich said. “The messaging failure from people like myself—every issue is mainstream of illegal immigration to the degree that you forget to remind people, ‘Why do we have a narrow Republican majority?’ It’s because anywhere from 20 to 40 seats are stolen from us because Los Angeles gets all these congressional seats because they’re the places with the most illegal immigrants.”

Cernovich tied illegal immigration to diluted political power and legislative gridlock. “If you think, why can’t we get Trump’s agenda, we’re down 20 to 40 bodies in Congress because of illegal immigration.”

“You might have a lot of sympathy, again… if you lived in California, a lot of illegal immigrants came in and did construction jobs—they never bothered anybody.” But Cernovich said the current threat comes from the second generation: “But the anchor babies we're seeing now are the problem.”

Their comments follow a wave of violence and civil unrest in Los Angeles after Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested 118 individuals in workplace raids, including 35 Mexican nationals.

Rioters clashed with federal agents and raised Mexican flags outside government buildings, prompting President Donald Trump to deploy 2,000 National Guard troops to restore order. The rioters threw projectiles, set fires, and attempted to overrun federal property.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum condemned the ICE raids and defended Mexican nationals, stating, “Mexicans living in the United States are good men and women, honest people who went to the United States to seek a better life for themselves and to support their families. They are not criminals.”

Sheinbaum added, “We disagree with this approach to the migration phenomenon. It’s not about raids or violence, but rather working on a comprehensive reform that takes into account the Mexicans on the other side of the border. That is our position, always a call for peace, to not exacerbate any form of violent protest.”
