“How Paris Made the Revolution and the Revolution Made Paris”

We’re beyond excited to announce details of our next book, and the next entry into the ‘Anti-Imperialist Marxism’ series:

In ‘How Paris Made the Revolution and the Revolution made Paris‘, Jacques R. Pauwels traces the intertwined evolution of a city and its revolutions, revealing how the streets, buildings, and public spaces of Paris were shaped by—and helped shape—the forces of popular uprising. From 1789 through 1871, and including up to the present day, the capital was transformed by successive waves of revolt that redrew not only its map, but also its political and social foundations, and this has in turn had influence around the world.

Available on July 14th, Bastille Day, as FREE PDF and beautiful print editions.
