Tim Walz Staffer (allegedly) Caught on Camera Vandalizing Teslas!

A state employee of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s administration faces accusations of vandalizing Teslas, allegedly causing $20,000 in damages.

“One of @GovTimWalz’s state employees took the gov’s words to heart. Dylan Bryan Adams, 33, was arrested on suspicion of causing over $20,000 in damages to Teslas in Minneapolis. Formal charges are pending,” a Minnesota-based crime watch account wrote.

“We posted about the incidents a couple weeks ago when a male with a dog was observed damaging vehicles downtown Minneapolis,” it added.

According to the New York Post, Adams is a “fiscal policy analyst for the North Star State.”

From the New York Post:

Adams was allegedly seen approaching a vehicle from the Elon Musk-owned automaker with his dog and then abruptly dragging his keys down the side of the car, stripping what appeared to be paint off the electric vehicles, the watchdog group posted to X Friday.

The same pup seemingly appeared in each video the crime watch account posted.

Other alarming footage showed a man, believed to be Adams, aggressively carving into two separate Teslas.

Adams, who works for Minnesota’s Department of Human Services, is not a political appointee in Walz’s administration, a spokesperson for the governor told The Post Friday night.

The alleged vandal is one of more than 40,000 state employees, the rep added.

His charges are reportedly pending.

The Post has reached out to the Minneapolis Police Department and Minnesota State Police.

The suspected arrest comes nearly a month after Walz said watching Tesla’s stock price plummet gave him “a little boost during the day” during a rally in Wisconsin.

“They’ve got that little stock app. I added Tesla to it to give me a little boost during the day,” Walz said.

“225 and dropping,” he exclaimed.

“And if you own one, we’re not blaming you. You can take dental floss, and pull the Tesla thing off you know,” Walz continued.

Daily Mail reports:

In a separate clip, Adams – seen wearing a rust-colored beanie, a dark gray sweatshirt and black vest – crossed the road before allegedly dragging his key from the driver’s side door to the rear of the vehicle, then casually walking away.

Yet another video showed him in a different outfit – this time a black winter jacket and a burgundy Minnesota Gophers hat – allegedly repeating the same act of vandalism as he walks by another Tesla with his dog.

A fourth clip, believed to have been recorded in the parking lot of Target, showed Adams exiting his vehicle while wearing a Golden State Warriors jersey over a light gray hoodie.

He then walked toward a nearby Tesla, readied his key and seemingly scratched into the paint before fleeing the scene undisturbed.

The striking footage has since sparked widespread outrage online with some social media users calling for the state employee to be ‘prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,’ with many expressing disbelief at his behavior.

‘I’m sure these crimes exceed the felony threshold for property damage. He should be prosecuted to the fullest extent,’ one user posted.

‘Ruined his government career by acting like a child,’ another wrote.
