Ever since President Trump took office, rogue leftist judges have been doing everything they can to get in the way of him fulfilling his mandate to the American people.
But, this latest ruling from an Obama-appointed judge really takes the cake.
Boston-based U.S. District Judge Denise Casper has just issued a ruling to prevent President Trump’s executive order requiring proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections from being enforced.
The masks are off. This activist judge is practically inviting noncitizens to vote in U.S. elections.
LAWFARE: Obama judge, Denise Casper decided that Trump’s executive order requiring all voters in federal elections to be citizens is illegal and has issued an injunction blocking the implementation of the EO. BREAKING: A Massachusetts federal judge just BLOCKED enforcement of President Trump’s executive order requiring citizenship for federal elections.
THIS IS UNREAL. A judge is now trying to let NONCITIZENS vote in elections.

In her ruling, Judge Casper claimed that the president does not have authority over elections.
Per Politico:
“Only Congress has the power to adjust state election rules,” Casper wrote, noting that the legislature “has done so through its enactment of” the National Voter Registration Act and other laws.
“Defendants cannot point to any source of authority for the President to impose” the new requirements in the executive order, the judge wrote.
I guess Judge Casper missed the part of the law that explicitly restricts foreign nationals from voting in U.S. elections…
The requirement that only U.S. citizens vote in federal elections is primarily addressed in **18 U.S.C. § 611**, which states that it is unlawful for any “foreign national” to vote in any election for federal office (President, Vice President, or members of Congress). This…

The requirement that only U.S. citizens vote in federal elections is primarily addressed in **18 U.S.C. § 611**, which states that it is unlawful for any “foreign national” to vote in any election for federal office (President, Vice President, or members of Congress). This implicitly restricts voting to U.S. citizens, as non-citizens are considered foreign nationals under the law. Additionally, the **Help America Vote Act (HAVA) of 2002** (52 U.S.C. § 21083) mandates that states verify the eligibility of voters, including citizenship, for federal elections. While the Constitution (Article I, Section 4) grants states the authority to regulate elections, federal law sets the citizenship requirement for federal offices. States implement this through voter registration processes, often requiring proof of citizenship (e.g., via the National Voter Registration Act of 1993, 52
Her ruling should be swiftly overturned…as long as it doesn’t wind up in the hands of yet another liberal judge who chooses to spit in the face of U.S. law and justice.
Back in April, another federal judge had already blocked President Trump’s order to require proof of citizenship for federal elections.
But Judge Casper’s ruling today goes farther to block a directive that would bar states from counting mail-in ballots after Election Day.
Reuters reported:
U.S. District Judge Denise Casper in Boston issued a preliminary injunction, at the behest of 19 Democratic-led states who had argued that the Republican president lacked the authority to mandate changes to elections and the states’ voting procedures.
The lawsuit is one of several across the nation challenging Trump’s March 25 executive order, which he signed after years of raising doubts about the integrity of the U.S. electoral system and falsely claiming that his 2020 loss to Democratic former President Joe Biden resulted from widespread voter fraud.
ADVERTISEMENTWhile parts of Trump’s order had already been blocked in April by a judge in Washington, Casper’s ruling went further as she concluded the states had established key pieces of the president’s order were likely unlawful and unconstitutional.
