Tesla is such an incredible company…
I have never understood the Tesla hate.
The cars are simply fantastic, once you drive a Tesla everything else feels like it’s 30 years out of date. No joke.
And now even if you’ve never driven one, you’re about to see just how revolutionary they are because you’re going to start seeing driverless cars all over the place on the road.
It always starts with one — the first drive — and then eventually a flood.
Today we got the first one.
Today we got a brand new Tesla Model Y driving itself from Gigafactory Texas to its new owner’s home ~30min away — crossing parking lots, highways & the city to reach its new owner.
Truly incredible to behold.

Backup here if needed:
As with everything Tesla does, it was meticulously planned out and flawlessly executed.
I was wondering how they’d do it, figuring for privacy purposes they wouldn’t want to deliver and film it going to a private home residence.
So what did they do?
Genius — of course they picked an apartment building.
Smart.
And they didn’t cherry pick an easy location either, they purposely picked a delivery location that was about 30 minutes away from the factory, driving on almost every type of road imaginable to get there.
That was not by accident.
That was a demonstration of brute force and extreme engineering success.
Well done Tesla team!
Wow!
And I’ll end with this…
I think this chart may be mislabeled (should say “Full Self-Driving” not “Autopilot”) but the stats are absolutely stunning.
Look how safe a Tesla is compared to anything else on the road:
BREAKING: Tesla Autopilot crushes U.S. average in safety stats after 9 billion miles!
Accidents per system:
• Tesla w/ Autopilot: 1,506
• Tesla w/o Autopilot: 6,864
• U.S. Average: 18,367
• FSD Supervised Prevented: 16,861Send this to your friends and family
