The recent arrest of two anti-Trump anti-ICE judges is capturing a lot of attention right now, more than anything I’ve seen in the past few months.
Some say it’s about time, now do 100 more….
And others believe it’s surely the end of Democracy as we know it.
With so much attention and misinformation out there, I figured it was time to do what we do best around here — give you the TRUTH about what’s really going on so you’re informed and educated.
Is this the end of Democracy?
Hardly.
It’s actually the return of the rule of law, and I can understand how some might be confused about this because it’s been gone for so long. So this may indeed seem foreign to many on the Far-Left.
Let’s start with the facts, shall we?
We have two arrested judges (so far): Judge Hannah Dugan (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) and Former Judge Joel Cano (Doña Ana County, New Mexico).
Let’s start with Judge Hannah Dugan, who was arrested for obstructing ICE during the arrest of an illegal alien:
BREAKING: FBI Director Kash Patel has announced the arrest of Milwaukee Judge Hannah Dugan for obstructing ICE during the arrest of an illegal alien.

Here’s more from Pam Bondi….
I would love to see Pam take a break from Fox News, but this is actually helpful:
Wild! Attorney General Pam Bondi explains what really happened with Milwaukee Judge Hannah Dugan that led to her arrest by FBI:
“The Judge learns that ICE was outside to get the guy, because he had been deported in 2013, came back into our country, charged with committing these… pic.twitter.com/Af7a1JdJR4

“The Judge learns that ICE was outside to get the guy, because he had been deported in 2013, came back into our country, charged with committing these crimes, victim is in court.
Judge finds out. She goes out into the hallway. Screams at the immigration officer. She’s furious. Visibly shaken. Upset. Sends them off to talk to the chief judge.
“She comes back into the courtroom. You’re not going to believe this. Takes the defendant and the defense attorney back in her chambers. Takes them out a private exit and tells them to leave. While the state prosecutor and victims of domestic violence are sitting in the courtroom.”
Now let’s go to Judge Joel Cano, who was arrested for harboring an illegal alien violent gang banger (allegedly) who had decapitated two heads (allegedly).
Charming people these judges want to support and even harbor in their homes:
OH MY god…
The Tren de Aragua Gang Member living with US Judge Joel Cano’s Home had photos of Two DECAPITATED Victims
Judge Joel Cano destroyed the phone with a hammer and disposed of it in a nearby city to protect the TDA gang member.

I’m pretty sure this photo has been edited but only to remove the pants. The rest of it is a real photo I do believe.
Definitely gives off Paul Pelosi vibes, doesn’t it?

And now here’s a nice little cheat sheet for you with additional facts:
Judge Hannah Dugan (Milwaukee, Wisconsin):
Arrest Details:
On April 25, 2025, Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan, aged 65, was arrested by the FBI at the Milwaukee County Courthouse. She faces two felony charges: obstruction of a U.S. agency and concealing an individual to prevent an arrest.
Alleged Incident:
Dugan is accused of helping an undocumented immigrant, Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, evade arrest by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents on April 18, 2025. Flores-Ruiz was in her courtroom for a pretrial conference on three misdemeanor battery charges related to a domestic abuse case. According to the criminal complaint, Dugan became “visibly upset” when informed of ICE agents’ presence, confronted them in a public hallway, and demanded they produce a judicial warrant rather than an administrative one. She allegedly directed the agents to the chief judge’s office and then escorted Flores-Ruiz and his attorney through a nonpublic “jury door” to help him avoid arrest. Flores-Ruiz was apprehended after a foot chase outside the courthouse.
Court Proceedings:
Dugan made an initial appearance in federal court on April 25, 2025, and was released on bond. Her arraignment and plea hearing are scheduled for May 15, 2025. Her attorney, Craig Mastantuono, stated that she “wholeheartedly regrets and protests her arrest,” arguing it was not in the interest of public safety.
Context and Reactions:
The arrest is seen as part of the Trump administration’s intensified immigration enforcement efforts, escalating tensions with local judiciary. FBI Director Kash Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi publicly criticized Dugan’s actions, with Bondi calling such conduct intolerable. Conversely, Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers and Democratic Representative Gwen Moore criticized the arrest as an overreach, with Evers accusing the administration of undermining the judiciary. Protesters gathered outside the federal courthouse in Milwaukee in support of Dugan.
Background:
Dugan, elected to the Milwaukee County Circuit Court, was handling a case involving Flores-Ruiz, who had been living in Milwaukee for about 12 years and faced no other known criminal charges. The incident marks at least the third ICE arrest at the Milwaukee County Courthouse in recent months.
Former Judge Joel Cano (Doña Ana County, New Mexico):
Arrest Details:
On April 24, 2025, former Doña Ana County Magistrate Judge Joel Cano and his wife, Nancy Cano, were arrested by federal authorities. They face charges of tampering with evidence and harboring an undocumented immigrant allegedly linked to the Tren de Aragua gang.
Alleged Incident:
The couple is accused of assisting an undocumented immigrant evade federal authorities, though specific details about the incident, such as the date or location, are less clear in available reports. The charges suggest they may have concealed evidence or provided shelter to the individual, who was reportedly connected to a transnational criminal organization. Seized firearms were cited as part of the evidence supporting the case.
Context:
Joel Cano resigned from his position as a magistrate judge in March 2025, prior to the arrest. Like Dugan’s case, this arrest aligns with the Trump administration’s focus on cracking down on immigration-related offenses and those perceived to obstruct federal enforcement efforts.
Public Reaction:
There is less detailed reporting on public or official reactions to Cano’s arrest compared to Dugan’s, but posts on X indicate public interest in the case, often framing it within broader discussions of immigration policy and judicial conduct.
Additional Notes:
The arrests of Dugan and Cano reflect a broader escalation in the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement strategy, targeting not only undocumented immigrants but also local officials, including judges, who are perceived to impede federal efforts.
A historical precedent exists: in 2019, a Massachusetts judge and court officer were charged with obstruction for helping an undocumented immigrant avoid ICE arrest, indicating this is not a new tactic but part of a recurring pattern.
No evidence from the provided sources confirms a second judge arrested alongside Dugan in Wisconsin, suggesting the “two judges” likely refer to Dugan and Cano in separate cases. Claims on X about other judges, such as a fictional “Howard Gates,” have been debunked as false.
Always critically examine such reports, as narratives around immigration and judicial conduct can be politically charged. The information here is based on available sources, but further developments may clarify or alter the understanding of these cases.
