Did Joe Biden Photoshop Himself Into Easter Family Photo?

Yesterday, Joe Biden (or the intern who runs his social media accounts) shared a rather odd family picture for Easter.

The images shows the Biden family — notably missing Hunter — gathers on the steps of a front porch to celebrate the day of Jesus’s Resurrection.

Yet, Joe Biden looks very strange in the photo, leaving many wondering if he was photoshopped in.

Here’s the photo in question:

A closer look:

Compared to the rest of the Biden family and the background, the coloring of Joe Biden looks very…off.

Not to mention that awkward position he’s sitting (standing?) in.

He literally looks copied and pasted in.

Social media users dug in to the reasons why it appears Biden may have been digitally edited into the family photo:

Here’s why this Easter photo looks photoshopped: 1) Biden’s lighting doesn’t match—his face and suit are too flat, no deep shadows like the rest of the group. 2) There’s a halo effect around his head and shoulders, especially on the left side. 3) His head looks too big, proportions are off compared to others. 4) No physical interaction—he’s isolated, no arms or shadows connecting him to anyone. 5) The background behind him is distorted, like the doorframe bends unnaturally. What do you all think? 🧐 #BidenEasterPhoto

One social media user also noted his creepy hand placement:

Grok says it was photoshopped:

Daily Mail commented:

Joe Biden posted a smiley photo of himself and Jill surrounded by their family on Easter Sunday – however many people online were quick to call him out.

The former Democratic president shared a heartfelt X post wishing his more than 38 million followers a happy Easter from him and his loved ones.

‘We wish everyone celebrating today a peaceful and joyful Easter,’ he captioned a photo that features his loved ones – without his son Hunter Biden – sitting on a staircase in Delaware.

But swathes of social media users and trolls claimed that Biden had in fact photoshopped himself into the photo.

Several people pointed out that the 82-year-old, seated at the top of the outdoor staircase wearing a navy blue suit, looked out of place – because of his formal outfit, his higher position above everyone else, and because of the lighting on his face.

‘This looks photoshopped!’ New York Times Best-Selling Author Brigitte Gabriel commented underneath Biden’s post.

Another user, whose account name is ThePoliticalPom, as well as scientist Dr. Simon Goddek zoomed in on the ‘creepy’ hand on the back of one of his grandchildren’s necks.

The awkwardly-placed extremity appears to be floating and unattached to Biden, who sat next to him.

‘That’s creepy AF. Whose hand is this? Surely not yours,’ Goddek wrote, with ThePoliticalPom echoing his sentiment, writing ‘WHOSE HAND IS THIS?’

Another user asserted: ‘It’s totally photoshopped. Look at his hand, it’s in a low wave position, the hand is NOT resting on the shoulder of the grandkid, nor are the fingers resting on it. This is fake!’

Others pointed out other alleged flaws with the picture, saying that Biden’s torso was edited in above the top step, and the way the others are sitting in the picture prove it.

‘Fake much like most of his administration. The woman in the yellow shirt you can see her knees,’ someone wrote.

‘She is sitting on the top step. Same with the guy on the left in the grey sweater with his elbow on his knee. Also top step. No way Joe was in this photo sitting or standing.’

The Biden-Easter-Photoshop controversy is spawning a lot of hilarious memes….

Some social media users helpfully cropped in the other missing Biden family member…

While this is hilarious, if Joe Biden had to be photoshopped into the Easter family photo, we have to ask why.

Was he missing from the family Easter celebration?

Is he sick?

Did he wander off somewhere and they forgot to include old grandpa in the photo?

Did Biden just close his eyes and they didn’t want to take any retakes?

What are your thoughts?

Do you think it was photoshopped? And if so, why?
