Andrew Cuomo CONCEDES NYC Democrat Mayoral Primary to Socialist Muslim Candidate

This just in: former NYC Mayor Andrew Cuomo has officially conceded the Democrat primary for Mayor of New York City to Zohran Mamdania.

AP News reported:

Zohran Mamdani had a significant lead over former Gov. Andrew Cuomo in New York City’s Democratic mayoral primary Tuesday night, leaving the young liberal upstart poised to land a stunning upset in a race still to be determined by a ranked choice count.

Cuomo, who was trying to make a comeback from a sexual harassment scandal, conceded the contest less than two hours after the polls closed, saying he had called Mamdani to congratulate him.

“Tonight is his night. He deserved it. He won,” Cuomo told supporters.

The race’s ultimate outcome will be decided by a ranked choice tabulation after neither Democrat got a clear majority in the vote. Mamdani, 33, a democratic socialist member of the state Assembly, held a significant lead with about 90% of ballots counted. Mamdani was also ranked second on more ballots than Cuomo, narrowing Cuomo’s path to catch up.

Zohran Mamdania is a Muslim socialist.

Which, is probably the only thing even worse for New York City than Andrew Cuomo was.

He has also been outspoken about wanting to defund the police in crime-ridden New York City.

Take a look at some of his social media posts:

Here’s his campaign video:

Bernie Sanders, another socialist, congratulated Mamdani:

Now, Mamdani will face Republican challenger Curtis Silwa and current Mayor Eric Adams, who is running as an Independent, in the upcoming election.

Republican challenger Curtis Silwa shared:

Zohran Mamdani is too extreme for a city already on edge. I know many New Yorkers are scared right now. Scared about rent. Scared about crime. Scared about being pushed out of the only place they have ever called home.

This is not the time for radical politics. It is time for real leadership.

I have fought for this city my whole life. Not for fame or power but because I believe in the people who live here. I have stood with working people in every borough, on the streets and in the subways, when others looked away.

I am not part of the political class. I never will be.

I am running to make this city affordable. To make it safe. To protect the communities that built New York and the families trying to hold on.

This is about building a future for all of us. Not just the loudest.

Not just the wealthiest. Not just the well-connected.

The race is not over. It’s just begun

New Yorkers have a choice.

And I will never stop fighting for you.

Let’s win this on November 4th!

It needs to be said: please pray for New York…

Pray that anyone wins other than this Muslim Democratic Socialist. That’s the last thing our country needs.

Really: how did we get here?

Is New York just that far gone?
